Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival - 116 neue Acts bestätigt
Wer der Meinung war, das Eurosonic Noorderslag hätte seine Kapazitäten schon ausgeschöpft, wird nun einen besseren belehrt. Zu den 70 bestätigten Bands und Solokünstlern kommen 116 weitere hinzu.
Damit ist das Line-up auf fast unüberschaubare 186 Acts angewachsen. Bei soviel Getümmel ist man mit erst antesten und dann penibel planen bestens beraten. Eine Portion Postpunk mit etwas Psych gefällig? Dann kommen die Schweden Josefin Öhrn And The Liberation in Frage. Oder ist für euch ausschweifender Folk mit Hang zur Natur das einzig Wahre? Hexvessel, die Zweitband von Grave Pleasures-Sänger Mat McNerney, empfiehlt sich. Weitere Neuzugänge sind unter anderem die Noise Punker Pink Street Boys, Steve'n'Seagulls und ihr Hillbilly Blues und die Ambient-Doomer The Black Heart Rebellion aus Belgien. Wer allerdings vollends eskalieren möchte, dem seien die Finnen Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS? und ihr hibbeliger Retro-Funpop wärmstens ans Herz gelegt. So oder so, das berühmte Showcase-Festival hüpft von Stil zu Stil und behält dabei stets seine Klasse bei.
Das Eurosonic Noorderslag findet vom 13. bis 16. Januar in Groningen statt. Der Vorverkauf ist bereits seit längerem im Gange, das Noorderslag ist bereits ausverkauft und Kombitickets für beide Festivals ebenfalls. Nur fürs Eurosonic sind noch Karten verfügbar.
